About the Idea Garden

The Idea Garden is a place for students to be creative, to explore, to collaborate.

It's a Thinker Space, fully equipped to give students an organic experience with emerging technologies.

It's where you connect with the community, learn from local tech leaders, and gain exposure to innovative ideas.

The Idea Garden serves as fertile ground for student vision, cultivates thought and provides for growth, and produces entrepreneurial thinkers.

Through our Cultivation series, our staff introduces you to the tools and knowledge you need to model and print your own 3D design.

Upcoming Events @ the Idea Garden

Adobe Spark is an intuitive application that allows you to create multiple kinds of digital stories. This session will cover the basic functions and interface of Adobe Spark, and we’ll discuss applications for both your use in creating content for your courses as well as ideas for incorporating Spark digital story assignments into your curriculum. The best part is: Adobe Spark is available at no cost to all IU faculty, staff, and students!

Create Videos Using Adobe Premiere Rush - FREE

This workshop will show you how to use your smartphone, computer, and Adobe Premiere Rush to create videos that can easily be integrated into courses. This session will cover the basics of using Premiere Rush, provide examples on how Premiere Rush can be useful in your teaching, and discuss steps needed to make sure videos you create are accessible to all learners.

Join Federal Research Relations, Regenstrief Institute, IUPUI iAI, and the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering for a week of presentations and discussions on Artificial Intelligence! Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with IU researchers across all campuses as well as the larger Indiana AI ecosystem. Guest speakers will include federal agency program managers who will discuss current and future AI funding opportunities.
